Ruach Flow and Fitness

Ruach Flow, a Christ-centered alternative to yoga, and Ballet/Pilates Fusion: movement for adults, grounded in breath and worship.

Ruach: breath, wind, Spirit

Ruach Flow is the studio's alternative to yoga. The name is Hebrew. Ruach means breath, wind and Spirit, a word that appears almost 400 times in the original Hebrew text of the Bible, beginning in the second verse of Genesis.

The studio's 2018 blog post explains the thinking: flowing movement, structured breathing and the health benefits that come with them are good gifts, and this class dedicates the exercise to the Creator under a Hebrew name instead of the word yoga.

Ballet/Pilates Fusion for adults

Alongside Ruach Flow, the studio's fitness list includes Ballet/Pilates Fusion. The name says it plainly: ballet and Pilates brought together in one class, with the control and posture both are known for.

Adult students are welcome here, and a free trial class is the easiest way to see whether the pace suits you.

Movement for a hard week

The studio's own blog on dance and stress points to the same ideas these classes build on: deep breathing paired with movement, a moment of gratitude at the end, and the encouragement of a room of people moving together.

Class times for these adult classes are not on the weekly schedule, so please call to ask what is running now and which studio is hosting it.

A note from an adult student

“I absolutely love the staff. Ms. Natalie is a beautiful dancer and makes the simplest things look so wonderful. She is a great teacher, kind and very encouraging. If you're looking for a adult class, you should check them out.”
