Junior Company and Senior Company rehearse the studio's own Christian adaptation of The Nutcracker, from September to the stage.
Junior Company and Senior Company are the performing groups at Great Commission Studios. Both rehearse the studio's Christian adaptation of The Nutcracker, the production the whole year builds toward.
Rehearsals run through the Nutcracker season, September to December, at Haslett, Okemos and Grand Ledge. In the spring the Thursday evening slot at Haslett changes over to Musical Theatre/Nutcracker, and the year ends with Recital Day in May.
On Friday afternoons at Haslett, Strength & Conditioning leads into Competitive Technique and then Competitive Choreography. Technique is where the clean lines and turnout are drilled. Choreography is where a dancer learns to hold a phrase and perform it.

The studio has a planned production of its Nutcracker adaptation at the Wharton Center in East Lansing. Sponsors can fund that work directly through the Commission a New Work tier on the sponsorship page.
Tuition here also supports the three Lansing-area missionaries named on the About page, so a rehearsal on Thursday night is part of a larger mission.
